
2026 IEEE 5th International Conference on Electronic Information Technology (IEEE-EIT 2026) Concludes Successfully.🎉🎊
On August 29, 2026, the 5th IEEE International Conference on Electronic Information Technology (IEEE-EIT 2026) was successfully held in Chengdu and concluded with great success. The conference was jointly organized by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, the IEEE Chengdu Section, and the Chengdu Chapter of the IEEE Communications Society.
The conference featured a rich program including an opening ceremony, keynote presentations, a roundtable forum, poster sessions, parallel thematic sessions, and recognition and awards ceremonies. Professor Xudong Han, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, was invited to attend and deliver remarks. This year’s conference presented the latest research progress, cutting-edge technological achievements, and industry development trends in the field of electronic information from multiple perspectives, aiming to build a high-level and in-depth platform for academic exchange and research fruits matchmaking among participating faculty, students, and industry experts.

🎤Plenary Speech: Exploring the Frontiers of Technology
Several well-known industry experts delivered high-level keynote presentations. Professor Pingzhi Fan of Southwest Jiaotong University explained two-dimensional delay-Doppler pilots based on complete arrays and MIMO OTFS channel estimation. Professor Pingyi Fan of Tsinghua University focused on 6G generative semantic technologies and shared the latest achievements in anti-distortion transmission and training-free adaptation. Professor Lijia Pan of Nanjing University systematically reviewed the development of bionic electronic devices. Chief Expert Guangyi Liu of the Research Institute of China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., drawing on industry practice, introduced key 6G technologies and the current status of industrialization.
✨Roundtable Forum: Exploring New Directions for Empowering Electronic Information with AI Large Models
Centered on the topic of “How should electronic information technology research embrace AI (LLMs)?”, the forum brought together field experts and young student representatives for in-depth discussion. Participants engaged in extensive exchanges on foundational technological innovation and the transformation of research paradigms, systematically analyzing the opportunities and challenges that large models bring to the discipline of electronic information. A range of diverse insights and practical references emerged regarding the bidirectional empowerment and collaborative evolution of 6G and artificial intelligence. The forum effectively promoted the exchange of ideas within academia and laid a solid foundation for future research and practice in the electronic information field as it embraces large model technologies.

🎓Poster Presentations: Showcasing Young Researchers’ Achievements
During the poster presentation session, more than 20 academic posters were exhibited and presented by participants from several universities and research institutions, including Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Xihua University, Beihang University, and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. The exhibited research covered a wide range of topics, including indoor positioning, ground-penetrating radar, thermoelectric cooling control, railway transit monitoring, RF communications, robot navigation, millimeter-wave radar, and adaptive filtering, fully demonstrating the innovation, vitality, and academic style of young researchers.
🎞Parallel Thematic Sessions: In-Depth Exploration of Specialized Technical Fields
The conference also featured two parallel thematic sessions, which included invited talks and 19 oral presentations focused on specialized technical directions.
Special Session 1, Integrated Circuits and Communication Systems, featured an invited talk by Professor LinZhang of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, who presented his research on an interference-aware graph neural network for energy-efficient resource allocation in space-air-ground integrated networks.
Special Session 2, Intelligent Sensing and Advanced Manufacturing, featured an invited talk by Associate Professor GangLiu of Southwest Jiaotong University, who shared insights on vehicle communication and positioning technologies for intelligent transportation: from automobiles to trains.

At the close of the conference, outstanding poster presentations, oral reports, and excellent papers from the event were recognized and honored.
